Woodbine Studio develops prestige psychological thrillers for film and television. Led by writer-director Kerra Bolton, the studio is building an original slate of narrative projects spanning Southern Gothic thrillers, international dramas, and select documentary work.

Our projects explore power, memory, and the hidden systems shaping human lives. Woodbine’s work combines psychological tension with cinematic storytelling designed for global audiences and the festival and streaming markets.

Kerra Bolton is an award-winning filmmaker and writer whose work explores psychological tension, cultural memory, and the systems shaping human experience.

Her journalism and storytelling have appeared on CNN, PBS, and in The New York Times. Her films have screened at festivals internationally, and her work spans documentary, narrative film, and long-form storytelling.

Through Woodbine Studio, Bolton develops original film and television projects that combine psychological depth with bold, genre-driven storytelling.
